Australians Share Special Moments

Many Australians share a special moment with their loved ones.Valentine’s Day has become very popular over the years in Australia, particularly during the late 20th century, and it continues to be celebrated today by many Australians young and old.

Heart is The Symbol of Valentine’s Day

The most common Valentine’s Day gift will be either be wrapped in paper with hearts, or the gift may be heart shaped.

The heart shape is used to decorate almost  anything, including cards, wrapping paper and gift boxes.

Some of the other symbols associated with Valentine’s Day are the white doves, teddy bears, Cupid with his arrows and couples kissing or embracing.

Although the red roses are the most popular flower associated with Valentine’s Day, there are still many other flowers that will be used in Valentines Day flower arrangements.

It’s exciting to watch the school kids getting excited about what and who they will send secret messages and gifts to for Valentine’s Day. Many schools allow mufti for the day – lots of pink – and have a gold coin donation to help raise funds for a chosen charity.

I like the idea of a gift voucher for valentines day so you can go and pamper yourself and your loved one. A hot air balloon ride would also be exciting.

I so love the idea of gift giving on Valentines day – not really celebrated it in our household as such…maybe this might be our first time ever!

Red Roses, Heart Shaped Chocolate and dinner alone with David would be my perfect Valentines Day gift!

Cheers
